The Sigma Xi 834 Club

Join the 834 Club Today!

The 834 Club is a great opportunity for giving to Sigma Xi! To be a part of this Sigma Xi Fund giving group, all you have to do is make a minimum monthly gift of $8.34 to the Society. With this very small monthly gift on your credit or debit card, your giving impact for a year will equal more than one hundred dollars for The Sigma Xi Fund ($100.08 to be exact)!

You might think your gift of $100 will not buy much in today's world, but Sigma Xi has a long tradition of stretching a dollar and it can go a long way. For example, your gift of $100 can provide:

  • Four Science Teacher of the Year Awards, $100
  • A library subscription to American Scientist, $75
  • Assistance for one student's travel to the Society's Student Research Conference, $75
  • Reduced dues to members facing unemployment or health crises, $85
Your $100 also enables the Society to:
  • Offer high impact Seminars for our members and prospective members
  • Maintain an annual student dues rate of $25 a year
  • Contribute to the Grants-in-Aid of Research endowment funds
  • Support innovative chapter programs that enhance the research enterprise
  • And so much more...
Consider the possibilities of increasing your monthly gift. You can increase your giving without ever leaving this one-of-a-kind club! Other eligible gift amounts include:
  • $18.34 per month, totaling $220.08 per year
  • $28.34 per month, totaling $340.08 per year
  • $38.34 per month, totaling $460.08 per year
The 834 Club is a great way to make a gift to Sigma Xi without having to write a check or pay postage. You can enjoy the convenience and reliability of having your monthly gift automatically forwarded to the Society. It also eliminates costs that Sigma Xi would spend on pledge reminders, postage and other administrative tasks. Plus, it puts your gift to work immediately and easily.

Joining the 834 Club is easy—just complete the online giving form. If you would prefer to mail your donation, you can mail your check made payable to "Sigma Xi" to:
